About
Built in 1963 on farmland owned by Marcellus "Sally" and Helen Simon, Kansas International Dragway is a full 1/4 mile facility. This track is steeped in history as some of the biggest names in drag racing have come and made their mark from drivers like "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins, to modern superstars, Scott Palmer, and Alex Laughlin.
The facility boasts a concrete launch pad with a full asphalt surface. In addition to the great 1/4 and 1/8 mile drag racing, "KID" has 23 primitive RV/Tailgate spaces available to accommodate any length rig or trailer. If you're new to drag racing come out for one of our test-n-tune, or Friday fun nights.
Come and be part of the amazing history of this family friendly NHRA sanctioned facility.
